To get backup codes on Instagram, you need to follow these steps:

1. Click More at the bottom left, then click Settings.

2. Click Privacy & Security in the left menu.

3. Scroll down to Two-Step Authentication and click Edit Two-Step Authentication Settings.

4. Click Get Backup Codes. (If there are none, you can click on "Request new" there)

After that, it's best to leave the code you give us in the list and you will no longer be asked to confirm a login as long as it exists.
